The Department of General Services has completed work on the Reisterstown branch of the Enoch Pratt Library. The library re-opened to the delight of the community with the announcement that it would be one of the first branch locations to offer e-readers for checkout.

Welcome back, there are really good points on saving energy during the cold Winter, and green power may be a good resource, but it is still long way to go !

Incandescent bulb will cost 5 to 10 times the original purchase price of the bulb itself during its lifetime. And Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL) and Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs have revolutionized energy-efficient lighting. So CFL and LED are no doubt to be the best replacement to save energy.--

DGS Community Energy Savers Grant program which is nearly published but no full information given there please give more about it.i need more information on it.

Phasing in the requirements for the new generations lights would make transition easier. Government buildings phase 1, Public Buildings Phase 2 then private structures last. We have used the old technology for 125 years change is hard. Lets hope the metric system isn't next!
