While this information is primarily for utility contractors, citizens may find it informational. In order to protect the investments that the City has made in our roadway system through Operation Orange Cone, we have developed "REVISED" trench repair specifications for our recently resurfaced roads. This REVISED trench repair specification requires that the permanent resurfacing patch cover a larger area. The purpose of this is to protect the life of the road and to assure the quality "rideability" for our citizenry.
We want our roads to last and we ALL must take care of them. The attached list shows all road sections, and which trench repair detail is required. In some cases, there is a short lag time in updating the list or a section may not be labeled correctly. The physical road conditions at the time of the street cut will ultimately govern what is required. We provide this list to you, the utility contractor, so that you can better plan your work and work your plan.
