The Project Development Team initiates transportation projects which have been identified in the CIP process. The team consists of City Planners who ensure that urban design, land use and environmental concerns are addressed in BCDOT projects before they enter final engineering. The Project Development Team is also part of a larger effort to make BCDOT more responsive to the communities it serves and to better integrate transportation projects with neighborhood master plans, Baltimore's Comprehensive Master Plan, and the upcoming Sustainability Plan.
