Baltimore Rising, Inc. (BRI), is a non-profit organization established to develop human potential and strengthen families in Baltimore City. Baltimore Rising provides supportive services and resources for youth, ex-offenders, and families. We believe strong individuals and families are the foundation of thriving communities.

Baltimore Rising, Inc. will be a leading provider of innovative and effective re-entry, mentoring, and family strengthening supports and services that will maximize the human potential of Baltimore City citizens to live a more sustainable life.
Philosophy
As an arm of the Mayor’s Office of Community and Human Development (CHD), BRI embraces the philosophy that a strong family mitigates the impact of societal dysfunctions. The agency incorporates the family strengthening model in the re-entry of returning offenders into society and the mentoring of children & youth programs. BRI seeks to provide family strengthening training to all human service providers impacting the residents of Baltimore City.
