Current Permits Expire May 31, 2010
Renew Your Permits Beginning April 20, 2010
There is a new web address for online renewal!
STEP ONE: PURCHASE YOUR PERMIT
COST: The cost is $20 for each vehicle permit and visitor pass. Each legal dwelling unit (as determined by Zoning and Tax records) is eligible for 2 visitor passes. You can purchase your permits online, by mail or in person at the Parking Authority Office.
ON-LINE: Go to https://pabc.t2hosted.com. If you already have a permit, then you have an existing account. Access your account using your user name and password as instructed. Enter your driver’s license number (no state abbreviations, no dashes) and your last name as your password. You must pay by credit card (Master Card or Visa) when applying online. Step by step instructions are available to download and print to guide you through the process. Print out a copy of your online receipt and bring it with you along with the other required documentation when you pick up your permits. You must complete your online application at least 4 business days prior to the scheduled neighborhood pickup to guarantee that your permits will be available at one of the pickups. Dates are listed below.
BY MAIL: Mail your request, including your name, address and number of vehicle permits and visitor passes requested, along with your check or money order made payable to “Director of Finance”. Your request must be received no later than May 19, 2010. Include a copy of your documentation (driver’s license or current BGE bill as proof of residency and a current vehicle registration for all vehicle permits). Mail to:
PARKING AUTHORITY OF BALTIMORE CITY – RPP
200 W. LOMBARD STREET, SUITE B
BALTIMORE, MD 21201
STEP TWO: PICK UP YOUR PERMIT(S)
Whether you pick up your permits at the Parking Authority Office or at a Community Pickup, you must present proper documentation:
PROPER DOCUMENTATION:
- You must show proof of residency (driver’s license, current lease less than 30 days or current BGE bill).
- You must show the current vehicle registration in your name with the correct Area 25 address.
- If the vehicle registration is not in your name (company car, parent’s car) you also need to have a notarized letter from the owner stating you are the sole driver.
- Students and military must have a current ID.
- If the vehicle registration is out of state and you do not have a Maryland driver’s license, you must obtain a non-resident permit from the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles. You must provide the receipt from the DMV and provide a copy of the application.
IN PERSON: After May 20, 2010 you may go directly to the Parking Authority office at the above address to purchase and pick up your permits.
