Mayor's Office of International and Immigrant Affairs

The Mayor’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs serves as Baltimore’s link to the foreign born and international communities within Baltimore and abroad. The primary functions of the office are to coordinate the federally mandated Language Access Policy is coordinated, administer the federal Targeted Assistance Grant program for refugees and asylees, manage the all-volunteer Sister City program, receive and host international visitors while serving as the protocol office, and operate as ground zero for the 2010 Census outreach to the ethnic minority communities in Baltimore.
