Fire Department - Shelter In Place

Travolta and Goodwin

With the threat of the use of weapons of mass destruction, we need to educate the general public of the process of Shelter-In-Place.

Indoor sheltering, also known as Sheltering-In-Place, is one of the methods that authorities will take to shelter the public safely until informed by public safety officials that the danger has passed, how to safely respond to a current hazard or that evacuation is necessary.

Sheltering-In-Place will remove the risk of the public being exposed to a dangerous situation and allow emergency responders to concentrate on the situation.
