Welcome to Mayor Sheila Dixon’s Cleaner, Greener, Healthier and Safer Neighborhood Ambassador Program (CGHS-NAP). The CGHS Neighborhood Ambassador Program aims to empower communities by identifying individuals within neighborhood organizations who are well-suited to be Cleaner, Greener, Healthier or Safer Neighborhood Ambassadors.
The goal of the CGHS-NAP is to help communities use City initiatives, programs, resources and services to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. Community groups that take part in this program will play a vital role in sustaining a productive working relationship with City government.
Community leaders will designate members within their organization to serve as Cleaner, Greener, Healthier and Safer Neighborhood Ambassadors. City agencies will in turn work with CGHS Neighborhood Ambassadors (See CGHS City Agency Groups link) to provide information about city services and resources.
Contact your community leader from your neighborhood for designation or the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhoods at (410) 396-4735 or neighborhoods@baltimorecity.gov for more information. If your community leader is unknown, please see the Community Association Directory http://www.baltimorecity.gov/government/planning/cad.php
