Featured plants for September include Yellow Shrimp plants, Torch Gingers, 'Green Mountain' Gingers, Paper Flowers, Fire Brush, Birds of Paradise, and a Rose Cactus. The Conservatory displays plants from all over the world in three distinct environments. Recommended for all ages. Admission is $2.

National Public Lands Day, which is held annually on the last Saturday in September, is an opportunity to clean up America’s most treasured areas and preserve them for future generations. Volunteers will be removing invasive weeds, restoring nature trails and performing other improvements. Recommended for all ages. This event is FREE and open to the public.

In order to rebuild the flowers and forests, the weeds need to go! Learn what plants are weeds and what needs to be removed along the Gwynns Falls Trail in Baltimore.
