Center History
This recreation center opened in December 1974. The center is named after the youngest African Ameican principal in Baltimore City. Ms. Crossman was a pioneer in playground and recreational programming. She worked for the Department for 41 years before her retirement in 1960. She is a charter member of the Baltimroe City Recreation Hall of Fame.
