Center History
The recreation center was dedicated December 17, 1980 under the direction of Anthony Dease. Mr. Dease led the “Deaser-cize” aerobics class that brought in heath conscious participants. He also had the late William (Bucky Lee) Lee on staff. Mr. Lee was considered one of the greatest basketball coaches and turned out some of the most talented basketball players. Coach Herb Estep and Coach Andre Barnhardt had a great football team.
