The Alliance
fosters well informed decision making for long term neighborhood
change by producing the Vital Signs that "take the pulse"
of Baltimore neighborhoods, training and technical assistance
to use data and the Vital Signs to enhance neighborhood
improvement efforts, and through its "one stop shop" for
a variety of neighborhood data - all available on the website
or in the alliance office. BNIA uses maps as the primary
way to distribute data. |

the Community Lending Group, assist minority and woman owned
businesses in the Baltimore City area with accessing capital

Approach. The Main

Easton, Oakland, Denton and Westminster. |

organization. MANO provides technical assistance to its members on such issues

nonprofit organizations in the country marshaling countless
volunteer hours by design professionals in the fields of
architecture, landscape architecture, engineering (among
