What We Do

311 is your first stop. It's the best way to alert the City to any non-emergency issues. 

With 311, you can: 

  • tell us about a problem you've noticed
  • ask for a service you need
  • find out what's going on with a request you've already made
  • get information about city programs or events
  • report something to the police that's not an emergency 

Our Call Center operates 7 days a week, 6am to 10pm. Call 3-1-1, within City of Baltimore and if you are outside of the City call: 443-263-2220.

Baltimore 311 Language Lines Services

Did you know BALT311 helps people who don't speak English well? Simply call 311, ask for your language, and a translator will help you throughout your call.

311 Mobile App

Baltimore residents and visitors can use the 311 mobile app to report issues. Get the app on iPhone or Android to let us know about potholes, missed trash and other concerns.

The 311 mobile app is an extra convenience for reporting issues, but it does not replace the option to call 311.

Using the 311 Web Portal

The online 311 portal is currently available on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can fill out forms and add supporting documents in the portal. Only submit the information requested on the forms. Do not share personal information like your social security number.
