About the Board

The Restitution Advisory Board (RAB) ensures that funds from the Opioid Restitution Fund (ORF) are allocated and spent on abatement efforts including programs, services, wraparound support, infrastructure, and resources that address substance use prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction. The Board does this by providing input to the needs assessment and City’s strategic plan related to key priorities to address the overdose crisis, making specific recommendations for the use of restitution funding to align with the city-wide abatement priorities and evidence with the final approval of the Mayor, and providing input on the transparency and accountability efforts and community engagement activities related to the Fund.
