Volunteer with Recreation and Parks
Help BCRP build stronger communities through conservation, health and wellness, and equity by volunteering! You can volunteer through one of BCRP’s many programs and rec centers or organize a group to help clean up a park or trail. - If you’re seeking project funding, please complete the Intent to Apply Form and share it with Felicia Jones to ensure alignment with BCRP’s mission.
- For larger projects like renovations, please complete the Capital Improvement Request form (CIR) and send it to bcrp.capital@baltimorecity.gov.
When to Contact 311
Report Public Tree Issues:
-For broken branches posing a safety risk or trees damaged due to storms.
-If a tree or large tree log obstructs roads, sidewalks, or public spaces.
Request Park Maintenance:
-For damaged park equipment, such as benches, playgrounds, or lights.
-To report litter, graffiti, or vandalism in parks or recreational facilities.
-For overgrown vegetation obstructing walkways or posing safety concerns.
Start a Friends of Parks Group
Join BCRP’s Friends of Parks Group to help care for your community park! Our Community Engagement Team will support you with resources, workshops, and grant opportunities through Park and Play, where your group can apply for $500 to $5,000 for fun programs that encourage outdoor play and community involvement.
