Overview
Baltimore City Recreation and Parks (BCRP) owns and operates the Shake & Bake Family Fun Center in the historic Upton community in West Baltimore. “The Bake'' as it is affectionately known, has been a local, iconic staple since 1982. Named after Baltimore Colts wide receiver, Glenn “Shake & Bake'' Doughty. Shake & Bake is the spot for Bowling and Roller Skating under one roof in the heart of Baltimore City!

Hours of Operation
Shake & Bake Family Fun Center is open Wednesday through Sunday. The facility is open during the hours below.
Per the Office of the Labor Commissioner, Shake & Bake will be closed on official city holidays.

Shake & Bake Family Fun Center is available for private bookings. Host your next event in one of our newly renovated spaces. We offer affordable rates and a family-friendly atmosphere for groups of all occasions. For bookings, please complete the special facility application and email it to EventBooking@baltimorecity.gov.
- Roller Skating Rink: $220.00 per hour
- VIP Skate Section: $50.00 per hour
- VIP Area 1: $150.00 per hour
- VIP Area 2: $120.00 per hour
- Game room: $120.00 per hour
- Bowling Buy-out: $1,000.00 (4 hours)
- Shake and Bowl: $40 for a maximum of 6 participants (Includes 1 Hour Bowling Lane Rental plus Skating Rink Entry fee for a maximum of 6 participants)
- Billie Holiday Rooms $120.00 per hour
- Shake and Bake Lobby: $120.00 per hour
- The Bake Facility buy-out: $2,000.00 (includes full facility rental)
- Table: $25.00 per hour
