Engaging with the Community

The Baltimore City Board of Elections (BCBOE) is committed to community engagement and voter outreach activities in support of voter education and sharing critical election information with our community partners. Our goal is to increase voter awareness, participation, confidence, and trust in Baltimore City’s electoral process. 
 
Our outreach efforts focus on informing voters about their rights as voters, changes in election laws, key election dates, polling place locations, operation of voting equipment, the available methods of voting on Election Day, during early voting week, mail in ballots, and Same Day Voter Registration. During outreach activities we also recruit election judges and election technicians.

To request BCBOE's Voter Education and Outreach support, please complete the Community Outreach Engagement Request Form

The BCBOE attends public events based on staff availability and resources. Event requests must be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the event date. Board response to your request will be provided within five (5) business days of receipt of the request form. Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Board! 

The last day to submit an event request for voter outreach and education for the Primary Election is May 22, 2026, and the last day of supported outreach activities is June 2, 2026. BCBOE will not consider any requests submitted after May 22, 2026.  Outreach activities for the General Election will recommence on July 13, 2026.
