To kick off Black History Month, we would like to introduce you to Charles Henry Turner. Mr. Turner was our nation’s first African American Zoologist and Entomologist. Please join us to learn about this fascinating and dedicated man. Not only was he the first person to discover many unknown facts about insects, he was also active in the struggle to obtain social and educational services for African Americans. This program includes some insect studies. No pets please. Please pre-register.
