BCFD Camp Spark 2026
BCFD Camp Spark 2026 is a youth fire service camp designed to introduce young people to the Baltimore City Fire Department through hands on learning, mentorship, and teamwork. The program gives participants an opportunity to experience the fire service in a safe, structured, and supportive environment while learning about fire safety, emergency response, leadership, and community service.
Throughout the camp, participants will engage with BCFD members, explore fire and EMS operations, and take part in activities that build confidence, discipline, communication, and problem solving skills. Camp Spark is more than an introduction to firefighting. It is an opportunity for youth to see themselves as future leaders, public servants, and positive contributors to their communities.
BCFD Camp Spark 2026 reflects the department’s commitment to education, prevention, and inspiring the next generation. Through this program, the Baltimore City Fire Department continues to invest in young people by creating meaningful experiences that expose them to career pathways, teamwork, and the importance of serving others.
