About the Mobile Safety Center (MSC)

The Mobile Safety Center (MSC) is available for neighborhoods and community events within Baltimore City. Our team provides tailored safety education for:

  • Children, parents, and caregivers
  • Older adults
  • Mixed-age groups

Our goal is to educate the community on common home injury risks and ways to prevent unintentional injuries.

What to Expect

Inside the red and white MSC vehicle, visitors explore interactive exhibits that demonstrate home safety hazards in key areas:

  • Kitchen – Prevent burns and cooking-related injuries
  • Bedroom – Learn about fire safety and emergency preparedness
  • Bathroom – Avoid slips, falls, and poisoning risks
  • Stairway – Improve safety to prevent falls and other injuries

Baltimore City Fire Department educators will guide visitors through hands-on demonstrations to help prevent:

  • Burns
  • Falls
  • Poisonings
  • Strangulation
  • Other unintentional injuries

Tours can be customized to focus on specific safety topics or provide a comprehensive safety overview.
