Immunization Program
The Baltimore City Health Department’s Immunization Program offers services to help prevent vaccine-preventable disease, monitor vaccination coverage, conduct disease surveillance, and provide immunization related health education and community outreach. Our Immunization Program’s T.I.K.E. Clinics offer no cost/low-cost vaccinations to children, adolescents and adults who qualify.

There is no cost for the vaccine(s). We are allowed to charge vaccine administration fees which are set by the Maryland Department of Health. The Baltimore City Health Department offers a “sliding scale” discount on vaccine administration fees based on household size and income. We are committed to providing healthcare to everyone. Those who lack the ability to pay for services will not be denied services. |

The Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) offers free Blood Lead Testing and performed on children ages 9 months to 6-years-old.

- How can I get immunizations for my child?
We recommend going to your child’s doctor. If you do not have a medical provider, have Medicaid or Maryland's "HealthChoice" insurance, or do not have medical insurance that covers immunizations, you can come to our T.I.K.E. (To Immunize Kids Everywhere) Clinics. Clients are seen by appointment only. To make your appointment please call our office at 410-396-4454. - How can I make sure my child will meet their school’s immunization requirements?
All children and young adults need to have an up-to-date copy of their immunization records to be enrolled in licensed daycare or in school. If you would like assistance in determining whether or not your child has their required immunizations, please bring their shot record to their school’s health suite, your child’s doctor, or to our TIKE clinic.
