Mission

Grounded in humanism, social justice, and harm reduction, we aim to reduce health disparities and improve wellness by providing a continuum of low-barrier, stigma-free, and person-centered health care and social services created for people who use drugs and people experiencing homelessness. Provides services through a public-private partnership between the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Baltimore City Health Department. 

Services provided:

  • Treatment for opioid use disorder: low-barrier buprenorphine 
  • HIV: testing, rapid treatment initiation, pre-exposure prophylaxis
  • Hepatitis C: rapid testing and treatment
  • Sexual health: STI testing and treatment
  • Wound Care: Treatment of wounds and skin and soft-tissue infections associated with injection drug use
  • Vaccinations: Covid-19, flu, hepatitis A&B
  • Mental Health: Screening and treatment for anxiety and depression, referral to therapy and specialty care
  • Harm Reduction: Naloxone distribution and syringe services
  • Case management: Support for Medicaid enrollment, linkage to primary care and mental health services, housing, transportation, and social services
