The Mayor’s Office of Correspondence and Constituent Services (MOCCS) liaisons, acting on behalf of Mayor Brandon M. Scott, record a constituent’s concern(s) and contact the appropriate city agency for action and follow-up. - Request Ceremonial Documents
Mayor Brandon M. Scott gives ceremonial documents to recognize and congratulate Baltimore City residents and organizations, and welcome groups who are holding events in Baltimore. Here’s what you need to know:
PLEASE NOTE:
- At least 72 hours notice is appreciated for In Memoriam requests, but not required.
- In Memoriams may be picked up Monday-Friday from 9:00AM–4:00PM at the first floor security desk in City Hall, 100 Holliday Street.
- Recipient must have a Baltimore City connection.
- Any draft language submitted may be edited or revised without notice at the discretion of the Mayor’s Office.
- A request for any items that are similar to already issued certificates or proclamations will be denied.
- No requested items may be used as part of an advertisement or commercial promotion without express permission from the Mayor’s Office.
- All requests must be submitted using the electronic form below. All phone call requests will be guided to complete this form before the creation process will begin.
- Issuance of any item does not constitute an endorsement by the Mayor or City of Baltimore.
- All certificate and proclamation requests must be submitted 2 weeks before the requested delivery date. We do not guarantee that requests will be honored if it is received less than 2 weeks prior to the requested delivery date.
- Request a Greeting Letter
The Mayor writes letters to say "welcome" to groups having big events in Baltimore. These events can be things like business meetings, festivals, school reunions, family gatherings, and other important get-togethers. Request a letter by filling out the form.
ATTENTION: The Mayor's Office will only send greeting letters via email in PDF format. No pickup will be available at City Hall.
