Baltimore City residents are invited to the Mayor's Annual Back to School Kick-off on Saturday, August 22, 2026, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at War Memorial Plaza, 100 Holliday Street. Kick off the new year with school supplies, community resources, fun activities and more!

Join us for a day of celebration, community, and back-to-school fun featuring school supplies, family-friendly activities, entertainment, and resources to help students start the school year strong.

This year’s celebration will be hosted by Baltimore’s very own Coach B and Fred D. Watkins — bringing the energy for an unforgettable day!
