Volunteer with Us
We are recruiting reliable individuals to join our volunteer team.
Immigrant residents experience unique struggles as they adapt to their chosen home of Baltimore. Our volunteers play an important role in helping immigrant residents overcome these barriers. Volunteers can support remotely and/or in-person.
General Responsibilities
Volunteer opportunities will vary depending on need. Potential activities include:
- Assisting with filling out forms
- Canvassing and door knocking
- Interpreting over the phone or in-person
- Translating documents
- Staffing Know Your Rights workshops
General Requirements
To volunteer with us, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have access to a phone, computer, and Internet
- Attend any onboarding and training sessions
- Be able to commit to one to four hours per week if participating in an opportunity
- Be able to adhere to standards of respect, privacy, and confidentiality
Ideally be bilingual (not required for all opportunities)
Some opportunities may have additional requirements.
