Mayor Brandon M. Scott Announces 2026 AFRAM Lineup

Today, Mayor Brandon M. Scott and the City of Baltimore's Recreation & Parks Department announced the dates and lineup for the 50th Annual AFRAM Festival. AFRAM will return to the historic Druid Hill Park Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21, from 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. each day.

Mayor Brandon M. Scott Announces Baltimore Screenwriters Competition 2026

Today, Mayor Brandon M. Scott announced that the Mayor's Office of Arts, Culture and Entertainment (MOACE) is now accepting entries for Mayor Brandon M. Scott's Baltimore Screenwriting Competition 2026, a new, expanded initiative celebrating the talent of Baltimore-based screenwriters whose stories reflect the rich culture and vast landscape of Baltimore City. The competition awards prizes in the feature film, episodic, and short film formats.
