The Mayor’s Office of Employment Development’s new American Job Center is more than a building, it is a bold investment in Baltimore’s workforce and the future of our residents. Designed to be a modern, welcoming hub for career development, training, and employment services, this state-of-the-art facility brings together resources that help job seekers achieve their goals and employers connect with skilled talent.
Built with a $49.9 million investment, the new 63,000-square-foot center features four smartly designed floors created to support collaboration, innovation, and opportunity. From career coaching and workforce training to employer partnerships and community services, this new home reflects our commitment to creating pathways to economic mobility for all Baltimore residents.
