A New American Job Center is Coming to Baltimore City in Fall 2026!
Career Hub at Reservoir Square
The Mayor’s Office of Employment Development Career Hub at Reservoir Square will bring workforce services together in one centralized location, making it easier for Baltimore residents to access career development, training and employment support.
Located at 850 W. North Avenue along the Gold Line, the 63,000-square-foot, four-floor facility represents a $49.9 million investment in Baltimore’s workforce and the future of our residents.
The Career Hub will be home to MOED’s American Job Center, located on the second and third floors. Residents will be able to access employment services, career coaching, workforce training and supportive services, while employers will have opportunities to connect with skilled talent.
Opening Timeline & Current Services
The Career Hub at Reservoir Square is expected to open to the public in late October 2026. The official opening date will be announced on the MOED website.
The Career Hub will bring together workforce services previously provided at MOED’s Workforce Reception Center, Youth Services Building, Northwest Career Center and Eastside Career Center, creating a more centralized and connected experience for residents.
As MOED transitions services to the new Career Hub:
- Virtual services remain available to Baltimore residents.
- Baltimore City residents ages 18 and over can receive in-person assistance at the Employment Connections Center and Neighborhood Job Hubs.
- YO! Baltimore West remains open and continues to serve Baltimore City residents ages 18 to 24.
The Youth Services Building, Northwest Career Center and Eastside Career Center are no longer providing in-person services as MOED transitions operations to the Career Hub at Reservoir Square.
Connecting Residents to Their Communities
While the Career Hub will serve as a central location for workforce services, MOED will continue providing services throughout Baltimore communities through its network of more than 50 community partnerships.
These partnerships help connect residents with workforce resources and opportunities closer to where they live, while strengthening MOED’s ability to meet the needs of communities across Baltimore.
What’s Coming to the Career Hub
The Career Hub at Reservoir Square is designed to be more than a place to access employment services. It will bring together resources, technology and community partnerships to create new opportunities for Baltimore residents and employers.
The facility will include:
- A two-floor American Job Center with career and employment services
- Workforce training and career development resources
- Spaces designed for collaboration and community partnerships
- Technology to support residents’ career goals
- Employer engagement and talent connection opportunities
