Who are Mobile Career Navigators?

Mobile Career Navigators come into neighborhoods to help connect people to jobs and training services. Often, these are communities where access to help is limited.

If you live in Baltimore City and need help, you can ask a Mobile Career Navigator to meet you at places such as libraries, coffee shops or other public spaces. You pick the place, and we will meet you there! Businesses and groups can also ask navigators to come to events or meetings. Spanish language services are available, too.

 We can help you:

  • Apply to jobs at any experience level
  • Enroll in over 30 free training programs including CDL, CNA and more
  • Create a winning resume
  • Get information on adult education & literacy programs including GED
  • Find support services including healthcare, childcare, housing, food, financial literacy, legal assistance, and other social services
  • Register on the Maryland Workforce Exchange

Tell us where to meet you!

Citywide Mobile Career Services are currently paused. During this time, our American Job Centers and Community Job Hubs remain open and ready to assist you. View our locations to stop in for services or complete an assistance request form.

Park Heights Residents: Please complete the Park Heights Assistance Request Form. This form is available exclusively for Park Heights residents.

Businesses and Community Organizations: To invite MOED to your location or community event, please email moed.outreach@baltimorecity.gov.
