If you need help, please call the National Human Trafficking Hotline, 1888-373-7888 SMS: 233733 (Help or Info)
The Baltimore City Human Trafficking Collaborative is a group of people and organizations working together to stop human trafficking in Baltimore. This includes both sex trafficking and labor trafficking.
The group helps by:
- Teaching people about human trafficking through classes, training for police, and media
- Helping state and federal police investigate and catch traffickers
- Supporting survivors by helping them get the care and services they need in a safe and respectful way
The group started in December 2017 and includes around 40 members. These members come from many places, like the Mayor’s Office, City Council, police, lawyers, judges, health workers, and victim support groups.
The Collaborative is part of a larger group called the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force, which began in 2007.
The Baltimore City Human Trafficking Collaborative has five active subcommittees.
