What We Do

The Orphans' Court deals with cases related to the wills and properties of people who have passed away. Specifically, we look after the assets of minors. We help figure out who takes care of children when their parents can’t. We also work closely with the Circuit Court. The Circuit Court helps decide who will watch over the child, and we step in when there isn't a parent or someone named in a will to be the guardian.
