What is the Valet Parking Regulations Program?

Restaurants and businesses sometimes use valets to park customers' cars. If they use a curbside space, they must have a Baltimore City Valet Operator's License and a Valet Parking Zone Permit.

The Valet Regulations Program ensures that valet operators follow the law. We reserve parking spaces on City-owned streets for them.

Valet Operator’s License and a Valet Parking Zone Permit

Applications for licenses and permits are accepted online using DocuSign. Please email valet parking or call 443-573-2834 for instructions on how to submit a valet application, payment, or with additional questions or comments.

Send your completed application, required documents, and a check or money order payable to the Director of Finance to the Parking Authority within three (3) business days.

How to Obtain a Special Event Permit

If you are hosting a special event and want to use valet services on the street where there is no valet zone permit, or if you want to use a valet zone outside the approved hours, you need to get a Special Event Valet Parking Permit.

Applications for this permit must be made seven (7) days before the event date. They are accepted online using DocuSign.
