Application for Qualitative Waiver
 

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description:

 The project has an approximate area of 0.25 acres and is located at the southwest corner at the intersection of Ashland Ave and N Madeira St and at the northeast corner at the intersection of E Madison St and N Madeira St.  The project will consist of building 8 new single-family attached dwellings on the 2200 blocks of E Madison St and Ashland Ave. this includes a grass yard, concrete parking areas, and street trees. 

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  Applicant has demonstrated ESD to the MEP; on-site water quality controls are not feasible.  The project will provide a fee-in-lieu payment to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.07 ac of this project.
