BCIT is committed to providing equal access to city services for all residents, including those who speak limited or no English. If you need language assistance, we are here to help.
What We Offer:
- Free interpretation services over the phone when you contact 311 for City services.
- Translation of important documents and materials in the top five languages spoken in Baltimore: Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, French, and Korean.
- Language assistance for accessing our websites and software through the Google Translate feature.
How to Access Services:
- 311 Services: Call 311 for assistance, and we will provide interpretation in your preferred language. A Spanish version of the 311 website and app will also be available soon.
- BCIT Programs: Our Broadband and Digital Equity division provides translated materials and in-person interpreters for events and meetings.
- Online Services: Many city websites and applications can be translated using Google Translate, located at the top of the website.
