Bike Baltimore Logo

Bike Baltimore is a program from the Baltimore City Department of Transportation. It helps plan, build, and take care of safe bike routes across the city. Biking is a healthy and low-cost way to get around, and it should be an option for everyone—no matter where they live or how much biking experience they have.

Right now, many people want to ride bikes but don’t feel safe because there aren’t enough protected bike lanes. The Bike Baltimore team works with other city departments to fix these gaps and make biking safer and easier for everyone.

Look for updates on current bike projects, our main planning documents, a map of bike lanes in Baltimore, and data from our yearly volunteer counts of bike riders.
