BALTIMORE, MD (April 28, 2026) – The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications that will be in effect for Flower Mart. The Flower Mart will be held on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the heart of Mount Vernon.
In preparation for the event, the following streets will be closed to traffic from 9:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30th until 11:59 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026, with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
- Mount Vernon Place (eastbound and westbound) from Cathedral to St. Paul Streets
- Charles Street from Centre to Madison Streets
Additional road closures will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. Friday, May 1st until 11:59 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026, with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
- Madison Street from St. Paul to Cathedral Streets
- Charles Street from Madison to Read Streets
Transportation Enforcement Officers (TEO’s) will be working in the area to facilitate the movement of traffic. All parking restrictions in the vicinity of the event will be strictly enforced. Motorists should obey all posted parking restrictions, watch for pedestrians, and use alternate routes to avoid delays.
