The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) would like to advise motorists of the weekly lane and road closures for the following activities scheduled in the downtown area. Motorists are encouraged to download the Waze.com app for live detour navigation.
All activities are weather permitting and times are approximate. The DOT is not responsible for providing status updates and this list may not be comprehensive of all roadwork in the downtown area.
Downtown lane and road closures scheduled for the week of March 16-20, 2026, include:
- Baltimore Street eastbound left lane closures at Eutaw Street daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
- Eutaw Street southbound right lane closures at Baltimore Street daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
- Guilford Avenue southbound left lane closure at Baltimore Street daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
- Guilford Avenue reduced to one travel lane (full time) between E. Lexington and E. Fayette Streets.
- Pratt Street nightly lane closures between Light and President Streets Sunday evening, March 15th, from 9:00pm to 5:00am the following morning through Thursday evening, March 19th from 9:00pm to 5:00am the following morning (Inner Harbor Intersection Improvement Project).
