Weekend Road Closures for Friday, April 10th Through Sunday, April 12, 2026

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) would like to advise motorists of the temporary road closures and traffic modifications for the following activities this weekend.  Please download the Waze.com app for live detour navigation.  All activities are weather permitting and DOT is not responsible for providing status updates.
 

Traffic Modifications for Weekend Activities

On Friday, April 10, 2026, the following road closures will be implemented:

  • Mobile road closures of Maryland Avenue at Mount Royal Avenue, to Cathedral Street, to W. Preston Street 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (special event – Good Friday Procession)

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the following lane and road closures will be in effect:

  • Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 southbound right lane closures 29th Street entrance ramp to Guilford Avenue 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (tree trimming and graffiti removal)
  • The Hanover Street Bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Cromwell Street and Waterview Avenue 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (signal repair work)
  • Pratt Street double lane closures at the intersection of President Street 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Inner Harbor Intersection Improvement Project)
  • Temporary closures of Covington Street, between Randall Street and Fort Avenue, and Fort Avenue between Covington Street and Whetstone Way 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (special event – South Baltimore Little League Parade)
  • Gay Street lane closures between Lexington and Saratoga Streets 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (signal repair work)
  • Preston Street closed between Maryland Avenue and Cathedral Street 10:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11th to 2:00 a.m. Sunday, April 12th (special event – Resurrection Service) 

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the following lane closures will be in effect:

  • Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 northbound and southbound left lane closures Fayette Street to the city/county line 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (cleaning activities)
  • Lane closures inside Druid Hill Park 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (special event – Roar for Kids 5K)

Road and Lane Closures for Baltimore Orioles Home Games

This weekend, the following road and lane closures will be implemented on Friday, April 10th, starting at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11th, starting at 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 12th, starting at 10:30 a.m. for Baltimore Orioles home games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards:

  • Hamburg Street closed from Leadenhall to Paca Streets
  • The northbound service lane closed next to M&T Bank Stadium
  • Camden Street closed from Paca to Howard Streets

 
Road Closures for Filming Activities 

This weekend, the following road closures will be in effect for filming activities:

  • Bentalou Street closed between Calverton Heights Avenue and W. Lafayette Avenue - 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 10th through 7:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11th.
  • Grantley Street closed between Gelston Drive and Eversley Street - Saturday, April 11th from 1:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.
  • Monroe Street closed between Riggs Avenue and Laurens Street - Saturday, April 11th from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

 

Road Closures for the Baltimore Street Food Truck Festival 

This weekend, the following road closures will be in effect for the Baltimore Street Food Truck Festival from 8:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10th through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026:

  • Water Street closed between Frederick Street and Market Place
  • Market Place closed between Water Street and Lombard St.

 

Lane Closures for CFG Bank Arena Event

On Saturday evening, temporary lane closures will be implemented in the vicinity of the CFG Bank Arena for an arena event.

In preparation for the event, the following lane closures will be implemented from approximately 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 11th until 1:00 am on Sunday, April 12, 2026:

  • Howard St left lane closure from Camden to Pratt Streets
  • Lombard St right lane closure from Hopkins Place to Howard Street
  • Baltimore St left lane closure from Howard Street to Park Avenue
  • Pratt St left lane closure from Eutaw to Howard Streets

   

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers’ Market

This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers’ Market, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the following street and lane closures will be implemented from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with parking restrictions in effect:

  • Holliday Street closed from E. Pleasant Street to E. Saratoga Street
  • Pleasant Street closed at Holliday Street
  • Hillen Street center lane closure between Front Street and Fallsway

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and should use alternate routes.
