What Is Repave Baltimore?

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) is working to resurface roads in poor condition that are free of project conflicts.

To guide this work, DOT reviews road conditions, community requests, and planned projects. This helps ensure that repairs are made where they will have the greatest impact for residents and travelers.

Maintaining city streets, sidewalks, alleys, and ADA ramps is key to improving safety, making travel easier, and providing a smoother ride for everyone who lives, works, and visits Baltimore.

What to Expect During Construction

From Spring (March) through Fall (November), Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) crews and contractors will be working across the city to improve streets, sidewalks, alleys, and ADA ramps. These upgrades help make travel safer and more accessible for everyone.

While this work is important, it may temporarily impact your daily routine. Here’s what you can expect:

Active Work Zones: Crews, trucks, and equipment will be working during approved hours, typically weekdays 9am - 3pm.

Advance Notice: Residents and businesses will be notified before work begins
