The Department of Transportation is working to repair and improve alleys across the city.
Overview
Most alley repairs happen when people report a problem. The cost to fix an alley is shared between the property owner and the city. The work is usually done by contractor crews.
DOT has developed multi-year work plans for pavement and other infrastructure assets. Locations identified for future years are expected to be restored but may change based on available funding, weather conditions, or conflicts with other planned projects.
