Tips on Parking During a Snow Emergency
When Phase II or Phase III of the city's snow emergency plan is in effect, you can't park on snow emergency routes. These routes are marked with black and white signs. If you park on one of these routes, you could get a $52 ticket and your car might be towed to a safe location.
What You Need to Know
- When a snow emergency is declared, don’t park on Snow Emergency Routes.
- Snow emergency route signs are black and white, and they are usually higher up on the pole than other signs. Make sure to check the top of the pole to park legally.
- Parking is not allowed on these routes so that snowplows and salt trucks can work without obstacles.
- If your car was towed during a snow emergency, call 311 or 410-396-9958 for help.
